Specificity: This antibody does not stain noncornifying
squamous epithelium. It recognizes
only keratin 13 (54kDa) and does not show any
cross-reactivity with other cytokeratins. Crossreactivity
not detectable with the following:
neurofilament, vimentin, GFAP and desmin.
Species Reactivity: Human, others not tested.
Ig Isotype: Mouse IgG2a
Immunogen: Keratin preparation purified from
human esophagus.
Format: 1 ml supernatant in 10 mM sodium
azide with FCS.
Storage and Stability: Store undiluted
antibody at 2 - 8°C. For long term, aliquot and
store at -20°C. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Applications and Suggested Dilutions:

Immunohistochemistry: (frozen sections /
paraffin sections) Use at 1:5 – 1:25,
recommend diluting with PBS.

Western blot
The optimal dilution for a specific application
should be determined by the researcher.
